T1 Keeps Saying "Powering up"

Diane Adams — Jan 17, 2015 11:06AM AEDT

My BlueAnt T1 has been paired to my Samsung Galaxy S4 but has started repeating the 'Powering Up' notification in the middle of calls. Sometime it does this 3-4 times and I finally have to turn off the ear piece and use the speaker on the phone.

Is there a fix for this?

Hi Diane,

Thank you for your enquiry.

This is quite an interesting issue and may be related to the phone you have connected.

Here are a few troubleshooting tips that we suggest you should try.

• Check your T1’s firmware via the phone’s Bluetooth menu and ensure that it is updated to v1.4 or higher.

• The next time it announces this phrase, check the LED on the headset to see if it’s flashing RED or WHITE.

• Test your T1 with another phone to see if you can replicate the same issue.

Please try this and let us know how it went.

Thank you.

Hi Diana,

Thank you for your inquiry.

If your T1’s firmware is v1.5, then there is no need to run a firmware update.

If a red light is flashing from your BlueAnt T1, that means your T1 needs to be charged.

> During charging, the indicator light flashes red.
> When the light goes white, the charge is complete.
