Voice Dialling Issues

Cannot get the Q3 to call another cell phone but I can call a phone from my cell and it goes through and then the ear piece picks up the call. Why won't the ear piece make the call for me?

The feature that you might be referring to is called Voice dial. This is a phone related feature that can be activated from your Q3 headset by tapping the COMMAND button twice. Alternatively, saying “Phone Commands” will also trigger the phone’s voice dial application and allow you to make outgoing calls, read text messages, check calender…etc.
For further support on how to use this feature, please refer to your phone manual or manufacturer’s support website.

Thank you for your query.
Making calls on your phone through the BlueAnt device is called “Voice Dial Over Bluetooth”. Once you activate voice dialling, you are using your phone’s voice control functionality. Any problems you may encounter will be caused by your phone, not your BlueAnt.
Please check your phone manual for help on getting the most out of this feature, and to find out what commands your phone supports, as well as any limitations of your phone’s voice recognition software.
For the caller name announce to work, you will need to sync your contacts in Google.
For us to be able to come up with a resolution for you, may we know the make and model of the phone connected to the BlueAnt device?
