Earpiece does not work

Why can I not hear anything from my new earpiece? It is charged and the volume turned up.

Thank you for your query.
Please try the following steps:
• turn off the Q3
• reconnect your headset to the charger
• plug it for 15 seconds
• unplug after 15 seconds
• turn it on
• check volume control
• click the command button

Please check the firmware version of your BlueAnt device.
To find out what firmware is installed on your BlueAnt device:
Go to your phone’s Bluetooth menu and look at the list of paired devices.
The firmware version appears next to the name of your BlueAnt device.
For example, if your phone shows BlueAnt Q3 v1.42 then you have version 1.42 of the Q3 firmware installed on your BlueAnt Q3.
Now, if you still have v1.35, you will need to run a firmware update.
